SONICO has received the international media attention since the launch of their first album “Eduardo Rovira: La Otra Vanguardia”. This album was voted top 10 in the Tango category in 2018 by Billboard magazine. In June 2020, SONICO was chosen by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 7 essential groups for the reconstruction of modern tango for their second album "Eduardo Rovira: Inedito e Inconcluso".
